ARTICLE 2 – SCOPE

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) govern the sale of digital products (e-books) offered on sheycast.com.

Any order implies the unconditional acceptance of these T&Cs. The customer acknowledges having read and accepted these T&Cs before placing an order.

ARTICLE 3 – PRODUCTS

  • Products are digital e-books (PDF format) focused on healthy eating.
  • Essential product characteristics are shown on each product page:
    • E-book title
    • Content description
    • File format
    • Number of pages
    • Language
    • Price including VAT in euros
  • Product visuals are not contractually binding.

ARTICLE 4 – PRICES

  • Prices are in euros (EUR), VAT included, applicable at the time of order.
  • SHEYCAST reserves the right to change prices at any time. Products are billed at the price in effect when the order is confirmed.
  • Prices do not include internet connection costs required for downloading, which are the responsibility of the customer.

ARTICLE 5 – ORDER

5.1 Ordering Process:

  1. Select product(s)
  2. Add to cart
  3. Validate cart
  4. Log in or create an account
  5. Confirm billing information
  6. Choose payment method
  7. Verify and confirm the order

5.2 Order Confirmation:
The sale is considered final after:

  • Sending the order confirmation by email
  • Payment receipt
  • Provision of the download link

ARTICLE 6 – PAYMENT

6.1 Accepted Payment Methods:
Payments are securely processed via Shopify Payments. We accept:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)

6.2 Security:
All transactions are SSL secured. No banking data is stored.

6.3 Immediate Payment:
Payment is due immediately upon ordering. The digital product is only made available after successful payment.

ARTICLE 7 – DELIVERY OF DIGITAL PRODUCTS

7.1 Delivery Method:
E-books are delivered via digital download through a link sent by email immediately after payment confirmation.

7.2 Delivery Time:
The download link is sent within minutes of payment confirmation. If delayed more than 24 hours, contact [your email].

7.3 Product Access:
Customers have unlimited access to download their e-book. It is recommended to save the file to a personal device.

7.4 Technical Issues:
For download problems or corrupted files, contact us within 48 hours to receive a new link.

ARTICLE 8 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

8.1 Waiver of Withdrawal:
According to Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to digital content provided on an intangible medium once execution has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent.

By downloading your e-book, you expressly agree that digital content delivery starts immediately and you waive your right of withdrawal.

8.2 Exceptional Period:
A 1-day period is granted for any refund request, provided the product has not been downloaded.

ARTICLE 9 – REFUND

9.1 Conditions:
No refund will be granted once the file is downloaded, except in cases of:

  • Corrupted or unreadable file
  • Defective download link
  • Clear error in product description

9.2 Procedure:
All refund requests must be sent to [your email] within 1 day of purchase, specifying:

  • Order number
  • Reason for the request
  • Description of the technical problem (if any)

9.3 Timeframe:
Approved refunds are processed within 14 days and credited to the payment method used at the time of purchase.

ARTICLE 10 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

10.1 Copyright:
All e-books sold on sheycast.com are protected by copyright. SHEYCAST or its partners hold all intellectual property rights.

10.2 License:
Purchase of an e-book grants the customer a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license.

10.3 Prohibited Uses:
It is strictly forbidden to:

  • Reproduce, copy, or duplicate e-books for commercial purposes
  • Distribute, resell, or transfer files to third parties
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
  • Share content publicly online or elsewhere

10.4 Permitted Uses:
Customers may:

  • Download and read the e-book on personal devices
  • Make a backup copy for personal use only
  • Print content for personal use only

ARTICLE 11 – FILE PROTECTION

E-books may be protected by technical measures (watermarking, DRM) to prevent unauthorized copying or distribution. Any attempt to bypass these protections is prohibited and constitutes copyright infringement.

ARTICLE 12 – PERSONAL DATA

ARTICLE 13 – LIABILITY

13.1 Limitation:
SHEYCAST is not liable for:

  • Indirect damages from using e-books
  • Temporary site inaccessibility due to maintenance
  • Customer internet connection issues
  • Loss of unsaved files

13.2 Guarantee:
We guarantee that files provided are virus-free and match the product description.

ARTICLE 14 – COMPLAINTS

All complaints must be sent to [your email] within a reasonable timeframe.

We commit to respond within 48 business hours.

ARTICLE 15 – MEDIATION

According to Article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, the customer may use a free consumer mediator to resolve disputes amicably.

ARTICLE 16 – GOVERNING LAW

These T&Cs are governed by French law.

In case of dispute, and if no amicable resolution is reached, the matter will be submitted to the competent French courts.

ARTICLE 17 – AMENDMENTS

SHEYCAST reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time. Applicable T&Cs are those in effect on the date of the order.

ARTICLE 18 – SEVERABILITY

If one or more provisions are held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain fully effective.
